It's our fifth year anniversary for the Border Wars Top Cop Shoot at RangeTec in Mercer, MO, on October 10 & 11, 2026.
This premier LE 2-man team, 2-gun event offers shooters the ultimate test of skill, precision, and tactical teamwork in a competitive yet supportive environment. You'll be competing with other LE from around eight (8) states! Any team from any state that borders Missouri are welcome to register. That includes, Iowa, Oklahoma, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Kentucky. This five year competition boasts a "traveling trophy" to be housed and presented in your state if your team wins. In 2025, the Missouri State Highway Patrol won the competition and the trophy resides in the Governor's office in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Beyond the intense competition on the range, the event is a unique opportunity to build lasting camaraderie, network, and exchange insights with fellow professionals and shooting enthusiasts.
Slots are limited, and entry fees include on-site lodging (subject to availability), food, and a prize table. We strongly encourage teams to register early by September 1 to secure the $80 early-bird rate and guarantee a custom event T-shirt.

We are in the thick of training season! Its time to be preparing for this years annual Border Wars Top Cop Shootout at RangeTec! See the flyer/QR code and reach out with any questions. More info will be getting pushed out over the next several weeks but here are the high points:
●This is a 2 man team LE officer only event
●This is a 2 gun (rifle and pistol) event
●2 days with multiple stages and an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and team work while emphasizing stage design around our profession.
